I'm not one-hundred percent certain whether I should have stayed with the default face-up, which I really like... but I think he will look marvellous anyhow.
I have plans for him and Scarlet (whom I have not ordered - yet); I can see them as partners in a steam-punk adventure, or as my favourite Harmony series (authored by Jayne Castle) couple Lydia Smith and Emmett London.
Right when I'd sworn 'no more big hefty EID men'; along comes Bane, with his narrow, intelligent face. Not a face for everyone apparently, but the more I look at him, the more I like it.
I decided that he was going to be a steam-punk gentlemen explorer, and requested him with a custom face-up - my first-ever from Iplehouse.
He has a small half-beard, and a scar over one eye. Very dashing, in my opinion.
I started with a screenshot from his sales page on the Iplehouse site, and added, as carefully as I could given my limited skills, what I wanted;
When Scarlet was first introduced in September 2014, her sculpt immediately attracted a lot of adverse comment.
Based in New Zealand, I've been a collector of ball-jointed dolls since 2011.
