Lucky me - DE enjoyed The Bachelor contest so much she sent me red and multi-colour speedos for Luc and Ethan, and surf boardshorts in a lovely flamingo pattern!
Since I already had a pretty pink polka-dot swimsuit for SID woman from DE's Etsy store DEWear, it was the perfect opportunity to introduce Tiare to the i-mag-i-nation forum, and thank DE at the same time!
Ethan (Iplehouse Edan is real skin, Taire (Mari) is new peach gold, and Luc (Vincent) is light brown resin.
My Bachelor contest ended with two bachelorettes in a tie at the end, so I conjured up a couple of new dates for them in a hurry... Iplehouse Bane, and Iplehouse Edan. Both in beautiful outfits by Iplehouse.
Ethan (Iplehouse Edan) arrives, with full-blown attitude problem.
The Edan sculpt was supposed to be issued with limited edition "strong-man" arms, but through a production mix-up it appears that many dolls were made with "normal" arms.
I was contacted by Iplehouse (along with others who ordered Edan) and advised that they could change the arms, but there would be an additional wait as the doll would have to be re-made in entirety. (This would have been to ensure that the resin colour was consistent across each part).
They sent me this picture showing the strong arm next to the normal arm.
I opted to get my Ethan sooner rather than wait any longer.
No regrets on my part!
An acquaintance of mine prefers holes pocked in her lawn rather than tolerate the daisies, but I love their cheerful little face, and their sheer doggedness in the face of the lawnmower.
So Marguerite gets to tease Ethan on a sunny Spring day.
Based in New Zealand, I've been a collector of ball-jointed dolls since 2011.
