Aria got a new holiday outfit; BurdaStyle pattern #116, and a pretty skirt by LyanneNZ to got with it; You can only just see the 'invisible' stand from Alice's Collections in the lower photograph. Oops! Aria's wig is by AmadizStudios. Isn't it wonderful?

How did I miss posting about Omar? He is one handsome dude.... As usual, the "look" I had planned for him (black hair) didn't work at all, and I was most surprised to find the "sepia" wig shown worked really well.
I really like the "Boho" look for these guys, but these kind of clothes are hard to buy - or at least, you can have any colour you like for them - as long as it's black. I made the shirt and the vest. The shirt has machine embroidery - well, actually I think it's a hemming stitch really. But now it's an embroidery stitch... His medallion is a "cut" coin depicting St George and the dragon, from Etsy store invicia. A while ago I sent off two Fairyland 2010 Event face-plates off to get new face-ups. First one back home was the one I sent to Nomyens in Thailand (see post below), and a week ago I got Chloe back from Angel Toast in the USA. Both have had their eyes opened up a little more. Whew! She's a scorcher! So I now have; Dreaming Chloe (no eye mod) with face-up by Deadly Nightshade; (seen here with Iplehouse Victor); Sleeping Chloe with modded ears & eyes, with face-up by Deadly Nightshade; Dreaming Chloe with eye opening and face-up by Nomyens; And now;
Dreaming Chloe with eye opening and face-up by Angel Toast. I think I can stop collecting Chloes now.... Or well, anything but Crow, which is his actual sculpt name... Nope, he is much too urbane and polished to be named "Crow".
He is provisionally being called Giovanni. Apparently, teenagers should be left to sleep in until 9 a.m... Mirwen gets to wear her sleepy-face; Her pretty face-up is by Angel Toast. I decided to put her on the SID body which I had hybrided for Elfdoll June. The top of the neck had been sanded down to a smaller dome, and I managed to swap the S-hook for the Fairyland neck connector without too much trouble - I simply removed the feet first, which then allowed me to pull out the tension elastic from the top of the neck. Attached the connector, re-attached the feet, and presto! Mirwen has a tall, elegant Iplehouse SID body! I think it suits her mature face much better than the Feeple60 body, which is cute but in a rather more anime style than the Iplehouse body. |
